Charlie Diaries - March 14, 2020

It's pouring again!!  I'm getting a little concerned about my glossy coat.  Do pup coats mildew??? I do not wish to be green!!

When we went out to do the morning chores it was raining. 

Rock, the stud muffin is at the main barn close to the house. While we were feeding the rain got rather hateful.  That means walking up the hill during the deluge, feeding Dream in her run-in, then venturing further into the soul-draining rain to go the hay barn run-ins where my favorite long face buddies live.

Ha! I knew there was someone who would open the door for me,  so after a quick pitstop in the barn, I zoomed back to the house. I was curled up on our blanket in our recliner before she even headed toward the run-in.  Ahhhhhhhhhh, what a lucky pup!!

I was dry, warm, and snoozing away when that drowned rat showed up at the door.  I felt, like a glare type grin, cracked open one eye, and there it was.......the raised eyebrow.   She leaned down, telling me that she was thrilled I hadn't gotten wet like her, wasn't chilled like her. I was like,  I know right?????? 😁
