Charlie Diaries - Day 21

The past two days have been, wellllllllll, stressful for me, and the cowgirl, too.

She put me in the dog yard, with a big bucket of water, with a drip hose to keep it full and fresh, and a brush pile to play in, three dog houses to choose from, a swimming pool , and a bowl of food, with a long instruction list involving checking on me, the water, and getting my food bowl replenished, twice a day.
The cowgirl had a very special, very important family event to attend.

I decided the yard situation wasn't working for me so I climbed out, and went looking for the cowgirl. So, "Feeder Guy" found me outside, put me back, trying to figure out how in the hell I had gotten out, then went about his business.
The next feeding trip rolls around, and poof I was gone..........no sign of me.
Searching!
Panic!
Texts!
Calls!
I couldn't find the cowgirl so I went back to the house. I was hot, tired, thirsty, and hungry, but she was still not home........sigh.
I was convinced I would never see her again!!
What to do, what to do............
Well, well, well, not sure how this happened but the nice Neighbor Guy I met the other day, showed up and let me in the house!!! Woooooo hooooooo, that's what I'm talking about........now where the hell IS that cowgirl of mine?????
I slept in our chair, then Feeder Guy let me out. I ran around for awhile then he got me fresh food and water, and let me back in the house.

At long last my cowgirl came home!!!!( I'm pretty sure she was gone a month or so)
Happy day, happy day, happy day!!!! I have decided to never let her out of my sight ever again, except when I'm scratching, because while I was on the run, I got lots of bug bites, ewwwwwww!!!!
So far I've helped cook, unpack, and observed her shower.......she's less than appreciative, but I've gotten lots and lots of hugs, like tons!!! She told someone she now has a 47 pound growth. That sounds awful, and I haven't seen it but I hope she's ok!!

We're going to bed to get some much needed sleep.
