Charlie Diaries - Day 14
I'm baaaaacccckkkkkkkk!!!!!
I was really surprised and excited to see my guy, and to get to go to the neighborhood fireworks competition. We had a great few days, but I must admit I missed getting to be in the country with the cowgirl.
So, here I am, back in the country, and I ran right into the Force Field of rules, the cowgirl is still quite set in her ways. She even made the comment that she "will bend me to her will mwahahaaaaa"
Hmmmm, we shall see about that, lol, seriously, phhhhh . Let's see she fixed my breakfast, got me fresh water, and took me for a run before even feeding the long faced ones. So...........who's making the rules????..
I was soooooo excited to get to play in the water again today. Man, I love that!!!! And, one of these days I'm going to catch that water!!

The cowgirl was advised I have a thing for shoes. She's been very careful with hers.
Turns out I also have a thing for little flag poles.
She decided, incorrectly, that I was "trustworthy" enough to be loose in the house, for a longer period of time than usual, while she did chores. And, btw, if she were really all that, shouldn't she have finished those by now???
Anyway, there I was, left to my own devices, when I noticed this little flag had fallen, yeah, that's it, had fallen out of an arrangement onto the floor, I lost my manners and all I can say is...........well, if you find a flag on the floor, do NOT chew up the stick it's attached to, just don't do it!!
She mentioned that while she appreciated the fact that I didn't chew up the actual flag, I was still in trouble and if I had an opposing thumb, she would make me write an apology............what?????? Sometimes I just cannot understand this woman!
For reasons I don't understand, we burned the flag.......I thought that really made her mad, now here she is doing it, and said it deserves the utmost respect!! I'll have to study up on this situation.
I finished my day by chasing that "damn freakin raccoon" off our deck, and a few toads around in the yard.
Now I'm sleepy and I need to snuggle up with the cowgirl and see about getting forgiveness.
